Audry was a WAAF officer at RAF Feltwell during 1940/41. She was engaged to John Sandys a New Zealander Pilot with No.75 Squadron. Sadly John and all of his crew were KIA on the night of 12.03.42.

It has been reported that Ronnie Soo was the son of the Chinese Charge d’ Affaires at Liverpool. He was killed in a Lancaster crash in 1944.
