Ray Towler, of the Airfield Research Group reports:-
"For the period of WW II, we know of at least 792 airmen who lost their lives on operations mounted from Feltwell & Methwold. Of these, 522 were serving with the RAF, 40 with the RAAF, 84 with the RCAF and 146 with the RNZAF".
