Recollections RAF Feltwell History RAF Feltwell Planes & Buildings 75 NZ Squadron

All photographs on this page are from the private collection of Mrs Sybil Caban whose parents, Bill and Polly Eyres  were the landlord and lady at The Chequers Public House during WW2.  Sybil appears in several photographs as does her sister Sylvia.  None of the airmen are known although we believe they are New Zealand and Australian airmen from 464 and 487 squadrons who were flying Venturas from Feltwell/Methwold.  We suspect that all these photos were taken between late summer 1942 and spring 1943.  If anyone viewing this page can identify any of the men pictured please contact me
